By Richard Huntley

Understanding fitness cardiovascular training is one of the top ways for you to get in shape and especially if you want to lose weight.

Don’t get put off by the big word of cardiovascular, as some people look a bit puzzled in what exactly is to do with fitness.

So what are the benefits of fitness cardiovascular training?

• Lose weight
• Muscle endurance
• Improve breathing
• Fight stress

Above is just a few of the main benefits of getting your body in top shape with working on your fitness cardiovascular training. It’s basically a conditioning workout, to condition your body into great shape.

If I am doing some hard training sessions through fitness cardiovascular training, I tend to go out for a jog first of all. Then I hit the hills, this is where the real training starts.

When you get towards the hill, I will try to keep a controlled pace and rhythm up the entire hill. Sometimes the hills get the best of me, and sometimes I get the best of the hills. Whichever way I still get a tremendous workout. It get’s the lungs and heart working a treat.

After that later on in the day I will work out my martial fitness routines focusing on key areas I need to maintain and work on.

Now please don’t worry, you do not have to run up steep hills or anything to keep in shape. My martial fitness routines on their own will do the job, and they are more enjoyable for you to workout.

In my new up and coming DVD out shortly, you will discover some of the simplified workouts for general beginners, right up to advanced cardiovascular/conditioning training.

I hope this short article has given you an insight to fitness through cardiovascular training or shorter term (cardio) and good luck with your fitness!
