Here below you will find 7 keys on becoming a new fit you & maintaining it. enjoy!
1. Find something you enjoy
This has to be at the very start of becoming a new fit you. So first find something that you really enjoy working out to and which method suits you. It must not be a chore, as not many people like chores to do. You need to have that feeling of fulfilment when you participating in working on your body.
I can tell you now that the results if you love what you do will be increasing much higher than if you don’t really think much of your chosen fitness method. I always love to make my workouts top notch fun routines, but just as important bring results while you enjoy.
RH Tip: This is your starting point to a new fit you… Make a start!
2. Find somebody to workout with
A great way to start off a new fit you would be to involve a friend, family member or partner who also wants to get in shape and have a fitter lifestyle.
It’s a very good way to keep motivated as you can speak to someone who is going through the same experience as you and enjoy the journey together. As you become more confident over time you can always start to have your own time to get fit.
RH Tip: Don’t wait any longer to ask somebody, take action now.
3. Try something different
I always encourage people to try something a little different as it tends to be a little more new and exciting in your life. I teach lots of people who workout out at the gym but tends to drop off after a while.
So i show them some of my routines which they can do in their very own homes of work breaks basically whenever they wish. New exercises bring out a new you and will be more importantly less boring.
My method of martial fitness has a huge array of different exciting routines which will serve everyone’s different wants. So try something new to inspire you to getting a fit lifestyle.
RH Tip: Try something new like my martial fitness DVD and member’s site coming soon. It’s a real life skill to learn. It keeps you fit & healthy plus keeps you safe to walk the streets.
4. Don’t overdo it!
One of the most important keys to starting off a new fit lifestyle and more importantly maintaining it, is to not burn yourself out. Basically speaking, try not to do to much at the start as your body is not use to the intense workouts.
So don’t try to much at the start as chances are you will soon get put off and find it hard to get back on track once this happens.
RH Tip: Keep it basic at the start of your fit lifestyle, and then you can up the pace and increase the intensity of your workouts.
5. Set Targets and goals
When you hear from successful people who have improved their lives in what ever it may be, you will always find that they have had some type of target and goal set for them to achieve. The importance of this is you will be able to see a progression through a time from when starting right up to where you are at the time since you set your targets and goals.
It’s key to have something for you personally to work towards in achieving. The great thing about targets and goals is you can raise the bar at anytime you wish reach higher results. You will be amazed how much you can really achieve when you start to set targets and goals.
RH Tip: If you don’t have goals or targets, it’s like having a car with no road map. We need to know where we are going!
6. Stay Focused
It comes to a crucial time for the first few months where most people find it difficult to continue what they have started to adapt into their lifestyles.
The key is to stay focused on what you want, and how to do this is not as has you might think.
Firstly don’t listen to others who are negative around you, as they will try and stop you from succeeding in great things. Turn that negative energy into a positive by rather speaking to the people who are going to motivate you along the way. Listen to people who give you compliments and who are generally interested in how you are doing.
RH Tip: Once you master the art of focusing, you will start to live an enjoyable fit lifestyle and transform your body and mind to the way you want it to be.
7. Put the time in. (More You Time!)
A great saying is that you can’t get someone else to do the push ups for you to get in great shape. This is so very true!
What this is actually saying? You basically need to be the person putting the effort in to transform your body. No one else can do this for you.
What I always say when helping people get in shape is to meet me half way. I show them all the great routine workouts that will help them get in tip top shape, but they need be the ones to take action to get their own results.
RH Tip: The more you put in, the more you get out.
So there you have it, my 7 keys on becoming a new fit you! (& maintaining it!) Just remember that exercise should be incorporated into our lifestyle’s to improve our lives throughout the long run. Not a quick fix.
To really enjoy and reap the benefits of fitness don’t wait for the new years resulution to get fit as chances are it’s not going to happen. You must take action now and continue to do so.
All the best

What another helpful read! A lot of people only look at losing weight and wonder why they put it back on when they go back to old ways, it is about maintaining it, and how many of us forget that I know I do.
Thanks Rich,
