So i am going straight to the point today of listing out 5 ways to help you lose weight without having to put yourself through a rigorous diet that let’s face it not many people stick with.

Just remember that you want to have a good balance with your eating and exercising as each one is an important part of the process.

1. Eat Breakfast Everyday

One of the most important meals to get you set for the day ahead of you, and lot’s of people are avoiding this one.

2. Exercise For Fat Burning Mode

Short intervals with high intensity workouts will do the trick to keep you in fat burning mode.

3. Eat More Natural Produce

Start to add more natural produce into your life. For example Fish, Chicken, Broccoli, Nuts etc.

4. Keep An Eye On Portion Sizes

You will be surprised how lots of people over eat. Basically don’t keep piling in the food when you are stuffed!

5. Look Out For The Sugar Monster

Only because certain foods say low fat or have diet wrote on them doesn’t mean they are healthy. Most of them have tons of sugar or sweeteners added to them which will store as body fat once over indulged.

A Missing Piece Of The Puzzle

If you want long lasting health and wellbeing because let’s face it, I’m sure that’s what we all would like. Just knowing the exercise along with knowing what to eat is not enough.

Let me tell you that it is a lot deeper than just the physical fitness, just like in martial arts.

Lots of people seem to think that martial arts is just about fighting and the physical techniques, which a part of it is of course, but when you really study it after some time like i have you find that a huge percentage of the training is mental.

Mental toughness is key, and if you do not develop in this you will struggle.

So this also goes for wanting to get in the best shape of your life too. You can’t just learn the exercises and know what to eat, as this is just a two legged stool. It will most defiantly fall over!

All of the amazing information we learn is useless unless we lead ourselves to put what we know into practice.

This is when the difficulties start with not taking action and doubting yourself comes into play which eventually leads to procrastinating big time!

So understand that to have real success with anything you do, the physical and the mindset must become as one.

The mindset is just another important piece of the puzzle.

Taking The Bull By The Horns

Doesn’t it make you wonder how some people are more successful in achieving a healthy mind and body than others?

I remember asking myself why this is.

Why do some give up only after a couple of months in wanting to transform their bodies to a fit and healthy state, and on the other hand what does it really take to continue a fit lifestyle and wellbeing.

The main problem i see with people attempting to get fit and not succeeding is that they do not leave their comfort zone.

If you want real results you better start real training. Now this doesn’t mean you have to start living like a monk, but rather taking the grip of responsibility in life.

Why not look after our bodies… we are worth it right?

When exercising this doesn’t mean half heartedly walking of a treadmill for 45mins with not pushing yourself for results.

A great saying that i remember hearing some years back was “You can’t get someone else to do the pushup’s for you”

Meaning you need to go out and experience this challenge and conquer it by yourself.

Growth Is Key

Whenever i workout or training in martial arts i am always looking to stretch myself and my learning.

People with exercising should not avoid the discomfort of having to work a little to get the results they originally set out to achieve.

So understand that this is where the growth in us lies, not just in health but everything we want to have.

After some time i had come to some conclusion that the ones who are out there kicking butt with a great success and growing themselves from the inside out are the ones who are taking the bull by the horns rather than running away.

So go ahead, grab the bull by the horns and take that ride. How do you know until you try?

We only have one body, so we need to look after it!

The other day i spoke to a lady who has struggled with losing weight for some time.

She explained how she had actually lost weight on this certain diet she was on, but after while it started to become far to much to handle and more of a chore.
(Not really the way you want to enjoy life.)

She ended up putting on more weight than when she first started!

It’s a real shame when i hear this as people are being led down the wrong road.

So one thing i know is that the lady i spoke to was not on her own as i keep seeing this time and time again.

Remember people, this method of a quick fix weight loss diet is not the way to go.

I always remind people that we only have one body, so we need to look after it!

Oh by the way, i have helped out the lady wanting to shed those annoying pounds and she is loving every minute of her new lifestyle. And this is the key guy’s… LIFESTYLE!
