I personally have not achieved some great successes in my martial art world by sitting back and expecting to suddenly wake up to amazing results.
It’s the same with fitness. You can expect to be super fit if you work out once a week, It’s just not going to happen.
My Efforts Were Key
When i was training for competitions in sport Jujutsu, i had to put in all the effort as i knew my competitors would out work me. You see that’s the thing, as an athlete the guys that are doing the real training with the real efforts is funny enough the ones who get the results in the end. Making sense now right?
This shows as above and i can personally tell you that you do need to put in the effort if you want to get fit. Now no you don’t have to train like a athlete as that is their job they do for a living.
What i’m asking for you to do is look yourself in the mirror and just be real to yourself that you are putting in the right amount of effort towards achieving what you set out to accomplish.
The great actor Will Smith once said how he out works everyone, and doesn’t rely on just talent. He perfects his skill, and the great thing is you can too!
This shows that you don’t have to rely on talent but rather good old elbow grease.
So why do many people shy away from putting in maximum effort? Simple… because it’s hard and uncomforting for us as humans. But like i have mentioned before in recent posts, the hidden powers are keep in going towards our discomforts.
Taking The Next Step
So what you should have is your goal wrote down along with your action steps how you are going to get there, and see that i said “action” steps, because you know that’s what you need to take, and finally with consistent amounts of efforts put in you will achieve to goal you set out originally.
