Today we are going to look at some great leg workouts for men and women which can be done anywhere with just a little space. I’m going to run through the leg exercises so you can start using them right away no excuses.
The legs are the foundation to our bodies and i feel most people tend to leave them out a little compared to exercising other parts of the body.
Now if you use the exercises in good form you will definitely feel the burn of your muscles working hard and toning up, as there is no need to do hundreds of reps because we are looking for quality. I explain more about this in my 200 situps story.
I have separated two different exercises from men and women but by all means try both as they are two bodyweight exercises that i love to do and teach.
Leg Workouts For Men
The first leg exercise is going to be what i call the lunge kicker.
So we start off in the standard lunge position with the front leg flat on the floor and the rear leg on your toes.
We then bring your rear knee towards the floor direction until around a few inches away from the floor and then lunge back up with that same rear leg throwing a kick out. (Check picture)
Once you have kicked outwards successfully, bring it back to the starting position for the lunge again.
Note: You will fall over a little. (Well i did when i first learned the lunge kicker ![]()
Leg Workouts For Women
The next leg exercise to really work our lower body is the Mount Fuji Squat. This exercise really gets the legs burning in no time at all!
First start with your legs positioned like you are sitting on a horse or mini mount fuji. Feet flat on the ground, back the back up straight and looking forwards straight ahead.
Next squat slowly down to as far as a stopping point occurs while making sure you are keeping your back upright.
Once you get to your lowest squat position, hold for 5 seconds and slowly return to the upwards starting position.
